Dave converted this baby into electric power. Even though he's only getting 5-6 minutes of flight time, it seems a great choice. Beautiful flying machine.
You can get one of these from Valley View RC online. No word if you can get one of these through Rusty. Flex is TOS or temporarily out of stock (red and yellow).

They have new campsites overlooking the lake, improved pilot access to the flightline, and, of course, the new runway at the Electric Line.
Last year's event was a success and expect more of the same this fall.
The Congaree Flyers hosted this fall's Jim Cecil Fly-In and many LARKS members participated.
The weather was perfect, food was great, and the flying even better. We saw quite a collection of planes: a couple of powered sailplanes, old timers, 3D planes, a CrazE Wing, sport planes, EDF jets, and even a helicopter.
Our own Dave Knox came away with the Pilots Choice and Family Choice awards. Dave flew the helicopter, a huge (Merlyn) sailplane, a large electric powered Mamba, and the Old Timer, Lazy Bee. He flew fast, he flew slow, and put on quite a show.
Aftermath of a plane rescue in the cornfields.....
I just realized that last month would have been the 4 year anniversary of my Webmastership.
Time flies when you're having fun! The website is now more than 8 times larger than when I started in the Fall of 2015. The monthly newsletters have doubled in content, and we've added tons of photos and video.
The hardest part of the job is providing content. So if any of you readers have a project you would like to discuss or an aircraft you would like to review, let me know.
