AMA News
We have been involved in introducing modeling to children of all ages, sending children to camp, doing flying demos at local schools, churches, and parks. We have also set up simulators and static displays at various locations as an educational experience to our community. We are always open to new ideas to promote our hobby to others in a safe way.
LARKS Mission Statement
To promote model aircraft building and flying as a family oriented hobby, to freely and openly share what we have collectively learned and experienced, and to provide an enjoyable, friendly and safe environment for our fellow hobbyists and guests.

Government Relations Update July 30,2018
This 80 mm twin 12 blade EDF is an engineering marvel, and though it still hasn't taken off the runway, it is an impressive piece of work.

We got to view the "guts" and wiring. Wow, this is possibly the most complicated model ever to grace our fields. It has a rigid aluminum wing box assembly with pre-installed servoless actuators to work the swept wing. Motion RC says the plane will fly at 38 mph with the wings extended to over 100 mph with the wings swept back.

Extreme Flight's 60 inch Laser-EXP in printed Red/White/Blue Scheme
Went to buy the MXS last month, but they had already sold out! Instead, I picked up the 60 inch Laser (version 2) in printed covering. Should be ready to fly this week.

Site has video for building tips and instruction how-to's, but I advise looking at the build info on the 74 inch Laser. Instructions on fitting the tail section are quite a bit different.

60 in wingspan weighing in at 5-6 lbs. Flying this one on a .60 size electric motor from Heads Up RC, servos from Dymond, and 5 cell batteries from Hobby King

Nall in the Fall registration opened up on July 4th.

Though this spring's Nall was rained out (first time in 37 years), you now have the opportunity to experience the hospitality of the Triple Tree guys with their brand new Nall in the Fall (replaces E-Week).

They have even taken steps to improve the bad weather advisories and camper safety.

A special thanks to Chief (Herb Dickerson)
He set up the field for our event. Great job!

About 15 pilots flew close to 40 different planes brought to the field. Only a couple of mishaps.

Helps to have such a large field (especially for my weak landing skills).

See Walt's flying skills on display below.
