We have been involved in introducing modeling to children of all ages, sending children to camp, doing flying demos at local schools, churches, and parks. We have also set up simulators and static displays at various locations as an educational experience to our community. We are always open to new ideas to promote our hobby to others in a safe way.
LARKS Mission Statement
To promote model aircraft building and flying as a family oriented hobby, to freely and openly share what we have collectively learned and experienced, and to provide an enjoyable, friendly and safe environment for our fellow hobbyists and guests.
Though retired in 2016 in the US, it still gives me goose bumps when I see one in a museum or on the RC flight line.
This Mach 2+ fighter played an important role in the Vietnam War and was still a major part of the US military in the 70's and 80's. It even saw service in the first Gulf War.
Over 5000 of these jets were built, making it the most produced American supersonic military aircraft.
Motion RC has already sold out of their first two pre-orders. Looks like the next batch will be in sometime in June.

Mark Morris, of Palmetto Health was our guest at the Flight Deck Restaurant on April 5th.
Mark ran down the reasons for this nationwide push for first aid for serious wounds. He then told us the importance of stopping bleeding wounds and the use of packing gauze and tourniquets.
He gave us a demo on what to do, how to do it, and the importance of getting help as soon as possible. On Marks's advice we have updated the first aid kit and located it within the connex. The lock to the connex has been replaced with a combination lock (the same combination we all should already have for the gate).
