The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) today announced a new partnership with Aero-News Network’s (ANN) Airborne Unlimited Daily News to produce the “AMA Drone Report,” a video series that will cover the latest news and educational opportunities in the recreational drone and model aircraft community.
The meeting was held on February 2nd. We discussed a possible new site, located at 1347 Cedar Creek Road, Pelion, SC. The site sounds
promising and the field is 1800 feet long by 500 feet wide.
An expert pilot, you'll find him on weekends at LARKS East and at events throughout the southeast. He's also a member of the Flying
Tigers and the Kershaw County Flyers.
The website is also a great place for information on building, flying, and just about anything else pertaining to our hobby.

LARKS Mission Statement
To promote model aircraft building and flying as a family oriented hobby, to freely and openly share what we have collectively learned and experienced, and to provide an enjoyable, friendly and safe environment for our fellow hobbyists and guests.
For many years, LARKS has had a deep community involvement, donating over $40,000 to various charities.
We have been involved in introducing modeling to children of all ages, sending children to camp, doing flying demos at local schools, churches, and parks. We have also set up simulators and static displays at various locations as an educational experience to our community. We are always open to new ideas to promote our hobby to others in a safe way.
