The AMA is pleased to see the FAA more acurately characterize its recent drone data as 'sightnings' and 'reports' rather than the more inflammatory terminology used last summer, Aug 2015.
We have been involved in introducing modeling to children of all ages, sending children to camp, doing flying demos at local schools, churches, and parks. We have also set up simulators and static displays at various locations as an educational experience to our community. We are always open to new ideas to promote our hobby to others in a safe way.

The 2016 LARKS Spring Fling was an unqualified success. This brings our total contributions to charity to over 40K!
We have over 40 prizes awarded, had a great lunch of barbequed pork, beans and cole slaw, and saw some terrific flying into a pretty rough wind. Heli guys were awesome, saw some great plane and jet flying, and even had a terrific demo of FPV quad flying. All to benefit a great cause!
