For many years, LARKS has had a deep community involvement, donating over $34,000 to various charities.
Daylight Savings Time is just around the corner. RC Pilot flight training will resume on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at LARKS West Field. Visitors are welcome!
Stephen Avila, E.I.T. was our guest March 3rd. He gave us a presentation on the good work they are doing at the Lexington Technology Center. We also discussed participation in the Flying Demo & Flight Sim Trailer at the Football stadium on Thursday March 17th from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM . Stephen is the lead STEM Instructor at the Lexington Technology Center
We also discussed our participation in a Flying Demo this weekend in 7 Oaks Park, Irmo with the Lexington Co. Sheriff's Dept. We'll be there 12th of March from 8:30 to 1:00. See you there!
We voted to discontinue use of the Riverside field. LARKS West and East are still available.
We have been involved in introducing modeling to children of all ages, sending children to camp, doing flying demos at local schools, churches, and parks. We have also set up simulators and static displays at various locations as an educational experience to our community. We are always open to new ideas to promote our hobby to others in a safe way.
Need something to put that EME 55 in? Try this beautiful SBACH342 from Aeroplus RC and Mile High RC.
